Grid.Pe delivers cash. We are not a bank, and we are careful about the difference. Here is exactly what that means for your money.
Do you hold my money?
No. Your money goes straight to an RBI-licensed payment processor when you pay, and sits in their regulated account, not ours, while your order is on its way. Grid.Pe is not a bank and does not keep a balance for you: there is nothing to top up and nothing to withdraw. We are paid for the delivery once it has happened and you have confirmed it with your OTP.
Is it safe to open my door?
Every delivery partner passes an identity check before they can carry cash. You see their photo, name and KYC status in the app, and the handover only closes when you read out your six-digit OTP.
What does it cost me?
Every charge is on screen before you pay: a delivery fee that scales with the amount, a platform fee, and GST on those two. For currency conversion, a stated markup over the base rate.
Do I have to do KYC?
Yes, once, in the app. It is how we know the cash reaches the right hands. Your delivery limits come from your plan, not from the KYC check itself.
Are you a bank?
No. Grid.Pe is a technology and logistics platform, not a bank, and not a payment instrument issuer. We do not lend, we do not invest, we do not take deposits and we do not hold your money. Payments are handled end to end by a licensed payment partner, and we work with licensed partners for the regulated parts of moving cash and currency.
What if something goes wrong?
Cancel any time before a partner is assigned, and free within 30 seconds of ordering. If a delivery fails, the payment is refunded in full through the same payment partner it came from, and support sits one tap away inside the order.
